Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting while integrating with a school that is fundamentally committed to the mental health of its students. You will operate during regular school hours, which are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, though occasional evenings and weekends may be necessary to ensure comprehensive support. Our environment is collaborative, allowing you to interact regularly with other health professionals and educators to develop effective interventions.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments tailored to each student’s personal history, presenting issues, and risk factors to develop a comprehensive understanding of their needs.

• Collaborate with students to create and execute individualized treatment plans that prioritize their emotional health and integrate them successfully within the school community.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed approaches to address various mental health challenges.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at personal development, emotional regulation, and enhancing coping strategies.
\n
• Work closely with an interdisciplinary team, including mental health professionals and educators, to ensure coordinated care and a holistic treatment approach.

• Provide crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, utilizing de-escalation methods and facilitating referrals for intensive care when necessary.

• Educate students and their families about mental health issues, treatment methodologies, and available community resources to empower them through understanding.

• Maintain meticulous documentation including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in multidisciplinary meetings, case discussions, and professional development workshops to enhance your expertise continually.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid LCSW licensure in the state of Texas.

Compensation and Benefits\n
