Work Environment\n

This role is fully remote, allowing you to work in a flexible setting that can adapt to your personal schedule. While the majority of your work will take place during standard office hours, you may need to attend occasional evening shifts, rotating weekends, and be available for on-call emergencies.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate students’ needs, identifying key areas impacting their emotional and educational experiences.

• Design and implement evidence-based individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique circumstances, prioritizing mental health, emotional well-being, and successful integration into the educational setting.

• Facilitate therapeutic interventions through individual and group sessions, employing modalities suited to address a range of issues such as trauma and behavioral challenges.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including teachers, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and other mental health professionals, to ensure an integrated approach to each student’s care.

• Provide crisis intervention strategies during mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate and appropriate support for students in distress.

• Engage in psychoeducation efforts, equipping students and their families with knowledge about mental health conditions and available support resources within the community.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to legal and ethical standards in all aspects of practice.

• Participate in ongoing team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities to foster a culture of continuous growth and improvement.

• Stay informed of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in social work to uphold the highest standards of care.

You will primarily work with students with diverse and complex needs, including but not limited to those diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), learning disabilities, emotional or behavioral disorders, and ADHD. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid LCSW licensure in the state of Texas.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of experience is required, candidates with extensive experience working within educational settings, particularly in special education, will be highly regarded. Compensation and Benefits\n
