Work Environment\n

This position allows for the flexibility of remote work, providing you the opportunity to manage a caseload effectively while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The regular work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts and weekend rotations to meet the needs of students and their families.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to understand the unique needs of each student.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address mental health issues, emotional well-being, and integration into the school community.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to conditions such as ASD, learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, and trauma.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to enhance personal growth and teach effective coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate with educators, speech therapists, and other specialists to promote holistic care for students.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring students receive immediate assistance.
\n
• Educate students and families on mental health conditions and available resources to promote wellness.
\n
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards and participate in regular team meetings and case conferences.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on students within our Special Education Program who may be facing a variety of challenges, including ASD, ADHD, and emotional and behavioral disorders. You will play a crucial role in helping these students navigate their emotional and mental health needs, facilitating their personal development and academic success through targeted interventions and support.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid LCSW licensure in the state of Nevada.
\n
• A comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders and trauma-informed care practices.
\n
• Proficiency in conducting mental health assessments, diagnosing conditions, and formulating effective treatment plans.

• Strong crisis intervention skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with students and families.

Preferred Experience\n

• Two years of post-licensure experience, preferably in a school or special education setting.

• Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other digital tools to document care.

• A background in delivering both individual and group therapy with a variety of therapeutic approaches.

• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating effectively with other professionals.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The competitive salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $104,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
