Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, offering flexibility in your work-life balance while enabling you to engage with patients effectively through telehealth platforms. Our operational hours are from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the possibility of occasional evening shifts based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with patients experiencing co-occurring mental health issues and chronic medical conditions such as chronic pain syndromes, autoimmune disorders, and substance use disorders. Your therapeutic interventions will aim to help patients navigate these complexities and achieve better health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Texas.

• Thorough understanding of and proficiency in treating individuals with co-occurring medical and mental health conditions.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to create a supportive therapeutic environment.

• Competence in maintaining professional boundaries, ethical standards, and patient confidentiality consistently.

• Experience and comfort with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth technologies.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of 2 years in mental health counseling is required, candidates with experience in integrated care settings, collaborative treatment planning, and those familiar with current evidence-based practices will be preferred.
