This full-time social worker position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in your work setup. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to ascertain the mental health status, strengths, and specific needs of each patient.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to address various mental health challenges.

• Work in conjunction with psychiatrists, nurses, and other health professionals to develop and deliver coordinated patient care.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health diagnoses, treatment options, and prescribed medications to foster understanding and engagement in the treatment process.

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, adhering to evidence-based modalities that support our therapeutic mission.

• Develop and execute personalized treatment plans in collaboration with the care team, ensuring alignment with each patient's goals and preferences.

• Guide patients through the often complex mental health system, advocating for their rights and ensuring access to necessary resources.

• Organize and conduct therapeutic groups, psychoeducation sessions, as well as discharge planning meetings aimed at helping patients transition towards recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on a diverse patient demographic, including children, adolescents, and adults facing a range of mental health issues. Patients may present with experiences of trauma, mood disorders, anxiety, and other psychiatric conditions. Your advocacy and therapeutic interventions are aimed at empowering these individuals and their families to navigate recovery in a safe and conducive environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program is mandatory.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) is required.
