Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual counseling sessions via video chat to assess and enhance clients' mental health and emotional well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a counselor, you will primarily support stable adult clients with low acuity needs. Each individual is carefully screened to ensure they are appropriate for teletherapy services, which allows you to focus on effective approaches without the complexities that accompany severe mental health cases. Our team finds the best matches between clients and counselors based on specialties, enabling tailored therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications\n

• Educational Requirement: A Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is essential for this role.

• Licensing: Candidates should be fully licensed in the state of Illinois to practice independently. Acceptable licensures include Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), and Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Note: Limited or provisional licenses are not accepted.
