Work Environment

This full-time position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center, equipped with the latest therapeutic technologies. The center operates Monday to Friday, with a standard 40-hour work week that allows for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to determine functional levels and develop personalized treatment plans in alignment with physician recommendations.
• Implement evidence-based therapies for rehabilitation, specializing in orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases.
• Continuously monitor patient progress, documenting results and adjusting treatment protocols as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
• Provide high-quality customer service and maintain effective communication with patients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate and train patients and their support systems on therapeutic exercises and injury prevention strategies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care, attend regular staff meetings, and contribute to policy discussions focused on improving service delivery.
• Achieve departmental goals concerning patient utilization and participate in quality assurance initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Lakeland Care Solution, you will work with a diverse population, including patients of all ages with varying backgrounds and needs. Our clientele includes those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, chronic pain, sports injuries, and neurological conditions. Developing genuine relationships with patients is essential, and your role will be critical in empowering them to achieve their functional goals and return to their daily activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited program is required.
• State licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong interpersonal skills, enabling the ability to build patient rapport and effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Proficient in administrative tasks, including documentation, patient input, and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Preferred Experience

• At least two (2) years of experience working in a clinical rehabilitation setting.
• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) is highly preferred.
• Experience in managing a variety of cases, specifically within oncology or pediatrics, may give candidates a competitive edge.
• Current CPR certification to ensure readiness in emergency situations.

Compensation and Benefits
