Work Environment\n

This position offers a fully remote work setting where you will collaborate with a passionate team of mental health professionals committed to providing high-quality care. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility to adjust to client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that are culturally sensitive and tailored to the individual experiences of each client.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, taking into account the cultural and personal contexts of clients.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, creating a safe space for clients to explore their mental health concerns and work towards healing.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health professionals to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to client care.

• Respond to mental health crises with immediate interventions, employing effective strategies to support clients in distress.

• Educate clients and their family members on mental health conditions, offering insights into treatment options and available community resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in line with legal and ethical standards, fostering trust and integrity in the therapeutic relationship.

• Actively engage in team meetings and cultural competency training to enhance professional knowledge and team dynamics.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will provide care to a diverse clientele, including individuals from various cultural backgrounds, LGBTQ+ clients, and immigrant populations. Your role will focus on offering compassionate, culturally relevant mental health support, recognizing the unique experiences and challenges faced by each group. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Virginia.

• In-depth knowledge of various mental health disorders and effective, evidence-based treatment methodologies.
\n
• Extensive experience providing therapeutic services in a culturally responsive manner, particularly within diverse communities.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and adeptness with relevant software applications.
\n
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect and build rapport with clients from varied backgrounds.

• Commitment to professional ethics, confidentiality, and boundary maintenance in all client interactions.

• Strong teamwork ability, actively contributing to a multidisciplinary approach to mental health care.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
