Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patient needs and create personalized treatment plans based on physician referrals.
• Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities to address functional impairments, pain relief, and overall rehabilitation in the patient's natural environment.
• Monitor patient progress consistently, revising treatment strategies as necessary to achieve maximum efficacy.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support optimal patient outcomes, contributing insights and sharing best practices from your experiences.
• Engage with patients and their families in education and training, empowering them with knowledge about their rehabilitation processes.
• Exceed minimum utilization goals while maintaining focus on the quality of service and patient satisfaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will encompass an array of patient conditions, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases. This variety ensures that you will employ a wide range of therapeutic techniques tailored to each individual's specific needs. Building trust and rapport with patients is essential to fostering their engagement with therapy and their commitment to recovery.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid state license for practicing Physical Therapy in New Jersey.
• A current Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
• Proficient computer skills for documentation and interaction with electronic health records.
• Experience in building positive relationships with patients to motivate and enable them to achieve their functional goals.

Preferred Experience

While we require a minimum of two years of prior experience in physical therapy, we highly value candidates with additional specialties and expertise. Familiarity with home health care settings and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) are advantageous. Your ability to demonstrate a deep commitment to patient care and a desire to cultivate community relationships will set you apart.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer competitive compensation ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 per year, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package. This includes performance-based incentives, reimbursement for local and national organization dues, insurance benefits, and fitness incentives.
