Work Environment

This position offers an onsite working environment, allowing for direct interaction with patients and a cohesive team dynamic. You will be working alongside two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), making up a collaborative team that focuses on comprehensive patient care. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured yet rewarding work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' needs and create tailored treatment plans that reflect their rehabilitation goals and functional capacities.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services.
• Utilize a broad range of treatment techniques, including therapeutic exercises and manual therapy, to enhance mobility and reduce pain.
• Educate and motivate patients on their recovery journey, encouraging adherence to rehabilitation protocols.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment progress meticulously, leveraging EMR systems such as WebPT for accurate records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and facilitate comprehensive treatment approaches.
• Regularly evaluate treatment effectiveness, adjusting care plans as needed to guarantee continued progress toward individual goals.
• Advocate for the importance of lifestyle modifications that promote health and wellness among clients.
• Participate actively in team meetings and case discussions to ensure the best clinical outcomes for our patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related discipline from an accredited institution.
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California, with a clean professional record.
• Strong foundation in orthopedic therapy, demonstrating a patient-centric approach in treatment planning and execution.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT.
• Excellent communication skills, with a knack for motivating and educating patients on their rehabilitation journey.

Preferred Experience

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred but not required.
• Experience in outpatient orthopedic therapy settings, with a track record of positive patient outcomes.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques and exercise regimens tailored to patient needs.
• A good understanding of current best practices in physical rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits
