Work Environment\n

This role offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing for a healthy work-life balance while still providing direct support to our patients. Our working hours are typically Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the possibility of occasional evening shifts to accommodate varying patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to determine the needs and challenges faced by children and adolescents, ensuring accurate diagnosis and tailored interventions.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that account for developmental stages, familial contexts, and specific mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, and behavioral disorders.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities throughout the treatment process, adapting techniques to best suit each patient's unique circumstances.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at providing parents and caregivers with the tools they need to foster a supportive and encouraging environment for their children.

• Work closely with child psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to coordinate care, ensuring a holistic approach that addresses all aspects of a child’s well-being.

• Provide crisis intervention services when necessary, assisting young individuals and their families during acute mental health emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on mental health disorders, available treatment options, and community resources that can offer additional support.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress, adhering to legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development initiatives to stay abreast of advancements in child and adolescent psychiatry.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on children and adolescents grappling with a range of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, attention- deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and other behavioral disorders. Your work will positively impact the lives of young individuals and their families, helping them navigate the complexities of mental health challenges and fostering their psychological resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Minimum of two years post-licensure experience in a clinical mental health setting.
\n
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders, along with evidence-based treatment techniques.
\n
• Experience in delivering both individual and family therapy to young clients.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster a trusting relationship with children, adolescents, and their families.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and strong proficiency in relevant computer applications.
\n
• Ability to effectively collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and contribute to collective goals.

• Prior experience providing therapy in a remote format, comfortable with virtual platforms and telehealth practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, reflecting your experience and qualifications.
