Work Environment\n

This position offers a flexible remote work setting, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while serving clients effectively. The outpatient office setting enables you to connect with a diverse client population in Tacoma and surrounding areas, helping to create a tailored and meaningful therapeutic experience. Our work schedule is generally Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM, with some flexibility as needed based on patient requirements.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to identify individual client needs.

• Utilize evidence-based practices, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to develop and implement personalized treatment plans.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring each patient's privacy is protected.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team, which includes psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide integrated care.

• Engage in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to enhance therapeutic practices and improve patient outcomes.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources to foster greater understanding and support.

• Stay informed about the latest advancements in the mental health field to continually enhance therapeutic approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will be serving encompass a wide range of ages and backgrounds, many of whom are navigating complex mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Your role will involve building trusting relationships, employing empathetic communication, and utilizing your expertise to guide clients toward healing and self-discovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• An active professional license to practice in Washington State as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).

• Proficiency in solution-based psychotherapy interventions, tailored to individual client needs.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential for creating and maintaining rapport with clients.
