Work Environment\n

This position offers a remote work setting, providing flexibility while maintaining a strong connection with colleagues and patients. Our clinic operates Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that consider both psychological and medical aspects influencing the patient's mental well-being.

• Develop, implement, and monitor integrated treatment plans that address the specific psychiatric and medical needs of each patient.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, applying evidence-based therapeutic approaches that are customized to fit the unique circumstances and goals of each patient.

• Collaborate closely with our multidisciplinary healthcare team, including physicians and other mental health professionals, to coordinate care and improve treatment outcomes.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring the safety and emotional stability of patients.

• Educate patients and their families about the interconnections between mental health and physical ailments, empowering them to take active roles in their care management.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure seamless information sharing.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case conferences, and interdisciplinary care planning to enhance integrated care practices.

• Stay informed about the latest research and developments in mental health and integrated care to enhance your therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with patients who have co-occurring mental health disorders and chronic medical conditions such as chronic pain, autoimmune disorders, and substance use disorders. You will play a crucial role in helping these individuals navigate their complex health challenges, improving their quality of life and mental resilience.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
\n
• Demonstrated proficiency in addressing the mental health needs of individuals with co-occurring medical conditions.

• Experience in delivering integrated care and effectively collaborating with medical professionals is preferred.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to maintain professional boundaries and adhere to ethical guidelines.

• Intermediate familiarity with electronic health record systems and relevant computer applications.

• A collaborative mindset with a strong inclination to work within an interdisciplinary team structure.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
