Work Environment\n

This role allows for a remote work setup, providing flexibility to integrate your personal life with your professional responsibilities. Despite the remote nature of work, you will be part of a collaborative and supportive outpatient environment where weekly team meetings and case consultations foster relationships and professional growth. Our standard working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility needed to accommodate patient appointments and provide optimal care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally informed mental health assessments to identify patients’ unique needs and develop evidence-based treatment plans.

• Implement tailored therapeutic interventions, drawing from a wide range of modalities to effectively engage with diverse clients.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions, as well as group and family therapy, focusing on healing and resilience building.

• Coordinate care with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive support network for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention services when necessary, ensuring a calm and therapeutic presence during acute mental health emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources, empowering them on their journey toward well-being.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with ethical and legal standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline patient documentation.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and cultural competency training to enhance skills and stay updated with best practices in mental health care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Texas.

• In-depth understanding of various mental health disorders and the ability to apply evidence-based treatment approaches tailored to individual needs.

• Proven experience in delivering culturally responsive therapy both in individual and group settings.

• Strong crisis intervention competencies with the capacity to manage high-pressure situations effectively.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) platforms and proficiency in general computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
