Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed mental health assessments, taking into consideration the interaction between medical conditions and patients' mental health.

• Craft and implement integrated treatment plans that address both psychiatric and medical issues, ensuring cohesive care for each patient.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to the unique circumstances and challenges faced by patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during mental health emergencies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on patients with complex mental health needs who also face significant medical challenges. This includes individuals with co-occurring disorders, such as those navigating the dual obstacles of chronic pain and depression or anxiety as a result of medical conditions. The role demands sensitivity, understanding, and the ability to connect with patients from diverse backgrounds and with varied experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.

• Proven proficiency in addressing the mental health needs of individuals with co-occurring medical conditions.

• Experience collaborating with medical professionals in an integrated care setting.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on establishing therapeutic relationships with patients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
