Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a diverse caseload of clients, building rapport and maintaining professional boundaries to ensure effective therapeutic relationships.

• Conduct regular sessions with clients to assess their progress, stability, and to discuss future appointments, including appropriate discharge procedures when necessary.

• Develop, implement, and consistently monitor personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.

• Document client interactions accurately and keep detailed progress notes, complying with legal and ethical standards.

• Perform thorough intake assessments to evaluate new clients and determine suitable therapeutic interventions.

• Conduct one-on-one therapeutic sessions weekly and provide effective feedback during individual supervision meetings.

• Engage collaboratively with other healthcare providers to provide comprehensive care.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Master’s degree in mental health counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license to practice independently in Texas.

• At least one year of post-graduate experience in a clinical outpatient mental health setting.

• Proficiency in using computer systems including Excel spreadsheets, RMS systems, Outlook, and PIMSY for client management and documentation.

• Experience providing direct psychotherapy services focusing on individuals and families.
\n
• Comfort with performing comprehensive intake assessments to address client needs effectively.
