Work Environment\n

This position is 100% remote, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a commitment to patient care. Our outpatient office is open Monday through Saturday, and as a Mental Health Counselor, you will have the autonomy to design your schedule between 10 and 40 hours per week based on your caseload and personal preferences. You will benefit from in-house credentialing and support for insurance participation, ensuring that your focus remains on providing care.

Key Responsibilities\n

The Mental Health Counselor will engage in a variety of responsibilities aimed at assessing and supporting our clients:

• Conducting thorough psychosocial assessments for individuals, families, and groups, leading to tailored therapeutic interventions based on individual needs.

• Facilitating the initial comprehensive patient and family psychosocial assessment and implementing appropriate triage for care.

• Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members through documentation and participation in meetings, such as patient rounds, to discuss assessment, treatment, and ongoing care plans.

• Providing ethical and timely documentation in compliance with departmental standards to ensure accurate patient records.

• Offering case management for assigned patients, which includes coordination with other healthcare providers to guarantee comprehensive treatment and support.

• Utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based modalities to assist clients in achieving their individualized service goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clientele includes individuals of all ages seeking support for a variety of mental health challenges. You will work closely with adolescents, adults, and families who are navigating issues related to anxiety, depression, stress, and other psychological conditions. Your empathetic approach and clinical expertise will directly contribute to their healing process.

Qualifications\n

Candidates must possess a valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) recognized by the state of Texas. A minimum of two years of clinical experience is required to ensure a solid foundation in providing effective mental health counseling.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience in outpatient settings and proficiency in a variety of therapeutic modalities, particularly evidence-based practices such as CBT, will be seen as a strong advantage. Familiarity with case management processes and multisciplinary team approaches will enhance the effectiveness of the role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
