Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to understand their biopsychosocial needs and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Engage in individual, family, couples, and group psychotherapy sessions, tailoring therapeutic approaches to meet the specific needs of each patient.

• Act as a primary therapist or co-therapist in group therapy settings, specifically focusing on psychiatric patients.

• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and case managers, in developing integrated treatment plans.
\n
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation in accordance with regulatory standards and Metrapolis policies.
\n
• Participate in team meetings and case conferences to review patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

• Provide triage evaluations and crisis interventions when required, ensuring immediate support for patients in distress.

• Adhere to ethical and legal standards, upholding the agency’s policies and the profession’s best practices.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field is required; candidates holding a Master's or Doctoral degree are highly preferred.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Oregon.

• A minimum of two years' experience in counseling, particularly within clinical settings.
\n
• Demonstrated experience and/or specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, or trauma-informed care.

• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards relevant to counseling practices.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with a diverse range of clients.

• Proficiency in using EMR systems and other technological tools as required.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in primary care or medical settings is highly beneficial.

• Background in specialized therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, with annual compensation between USD 70,000 and 105,000, including potential bonuses and a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.
