Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver individualized mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), tailored to the unique needs of each client seeking stress relief and personal development.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify clients' specific stressors, challenges, and therapeutic goals, ensuring an individualized approach to treatment.

• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation practices, and breathing techniques aimed at promoting emotional balance and self-awareness.

• Facilitate engaging group workshops focused on mindfulness practices, stress management techniques, and strategies to build resilience, creating a community of support among participants.

• Seamlessly integrate mindfulness techniques into individual therapy sessions to effectively address clients’ mental health concerns, thereby enhancing overall treatment outcomes.

• Collaborate with fellow therapists and healthcare providers to harmonize mindfulness practices within a comprehensive treatment plan, ensuring continuity of care.

• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and mindfulness interventions, essential for effective follow-up and care management.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client population, including adults facing a variety of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, stress-related disorders, and life transitions. Qualifications\n

• A valid master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey.

• Demonstrated proficiency in applying mindfulness techniques within therapeutic settings.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to foster a calm and supportive therapeutic atmosphere.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience providing mental health therapy, preferably with a focus on mindfulness-based practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $104,000, commensurate with experience and professional qualifications.
