Work Environment\n

This full-time role allows for flexibility with a remote work setting, adhering to standard working hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional evening and weekend shifts as needed. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to ascertain the severity and impact of mood disorder symptoms on clients’ daily lives, tailoring individualized therapy approaches accordingly.

• Collaborate closely with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their specific therapeutic goals, preferences, and progress milestones.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to effectively address mood disorders.

• Provide education and resources to clients and their families, equipping them with strategies for better self-care, symptom management, and understanding of mood disorders.

• Regularly monitor and document patients’ progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.

• Engage and collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and provide a multidisciplinary approach to client wellness.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge in mood disorder treatments and contribute to case consultations and team meetings, offering insights and engaging in collaborative discussions.

• Advocate for the mental health needs of clients, working to reduce stigma surrounding mood disorders through community engagement and awareness initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist will work primarily with individuals diagnosed with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Our clientele comes from various backgrounds, offering an enriching opportunity for clinicians to learn from diverse perspectives while providing tailored support.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure in Texas as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health treatment modalities and psychopharmacology to facilitate effective collaboration with medical professionals.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with clients and fostering a therapeutic alliance.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with two or more years of post-licensure experience specializing in mood disorders will be favored. Proficiency in evidence-based treatment strategies such as CBT and DBT is highly desirable, as well as a proven success record of client outcomes in therapeutic settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n
