Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to determine patients’ trauma history and tailor treatment methodologies effectively.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices, ensuring alignment with patients' goals for trauma recovery.

• Utilize specialized therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during individual and group sessions.

• Facilitate safe and supportive individual therapy sessions, as well as engaging group therapeutic activities aimed at helping patients process and heal from trauma.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other allied health professionals to deliver holistic, integrated care to enhance overall patient outcomes.

• Provide urgent crisis intervention for patients during trauma-related emergencies, deploying effective strategies to maintain composure and support.

• Educate patients and their families on the nature of trauma responses and available coping strategies and resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical documentation, adhering to all legal and ethical standards relevant to counseling practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals affected by various forms of trauma, encompassing adults and adolescents dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience, specifically in trauma-focused therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
