This position is primarily remote, with opportunities for face-to-face meeting when necessary. The ideal work schedule follows a Monday to Friday rhythm from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, offering a standard therapeutic setting while allowing some flexibility to adjust based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's unique experiences and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Implement and monitor individualized treatment strategies aimed at fostering trauma recovery and enhancing resilience, using approaches like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing techniques to help patients analyze their trauma and develop healthy coping mechanisms.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary care team, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to ensure a cohesive treatment experience for patients.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.

Compensation and Benefits\n
