Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, which is especially convenient for both our staff and patients adapting to a digital healthcare model. You will engage with clients through telehealth platforms, ensuring consistent access to therapy regardless of geographic barriers. Our operational hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient scheduling needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to accurately identify patient needs and risks; analyze behaviors and symptoms to develop tailored treatment strategies.

• Utilize various therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to provide effective individual, couple, and family therapy sessions.

• Lead psychoeducational groups and support sessions that facilitate community and understanding around mental health issues, enhancing the patient's connection to available resources.
\n
• Collaborate continuously with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and psychologists, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention services as needed, guiding patients through acute emotional distress and mental health emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients about their mental health conditions and treatment options, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery journey.
\n
• Maintain comprehensive and confidential patient documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Actively participate in case consultations and team meetings, contributing insights and strategies for patient care. Keep abreast of the latest research and tools in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will focus on a diverse clientele ranging from adolescents to adults, each facing unique mental health challenges. The therapeutic services provided will address a spectrum of issues, thus requiring a culturally competent approach to effectively engage patients from various backgrounds. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of California is mandatory.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and proven ability to devise and implement effective treatment plans.

• Proven experience in delivering therapeutic services to individual and group settings, ideally with a background in outpatient mental health services.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with sound judgment and a firm adherence to professional ethics and boundaries.

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications is essential for efficient patient management.

Compensation and Benefits\n
