Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health status through interviews, questionnaires, and observation.

• Develop individualized therapy plans tailored to the unique needs and circumstances of each client, incorporating evidence-based practices.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, employing a variety of therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness strategies.

• Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients, helping them develop essential coping strategies and life skills to manage their mental health issues.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and support staff, to ensure holistic care for clients.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) to document client progress and treatment outcomes.

• Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to team meetings to enhance service quality and treatment approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our counselors work with a diverse patient population experiencing an array of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD, substance use disorders, and eating disorders. Understanding and respecting the cultural backgrounds and individual experiences of each client is paramount in delivering effective therapy. You will be encouraged to utilize culturally competent approaches to enhance the therapeutic relationship and optimize client outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid, active license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling.

• Profound knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
