Work Environment\n

This full-time position is primarily remote, allowing for flexible work arrangements that align with patient needs, while also ensuring that you are a vital part of a collaborative team dedicated to trauma-informed care. Working Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, there may be times when your schedule needs to adapt based on patient appointments and emergencies.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories and tailor treatment plans that promote healing.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies, fostering a supportive space that encourages resilience and recovery.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to assist patients in overcoming trauma.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions to help clients process their experiences, build coping mechanisms, and encourage personal growth.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and integrated care for our patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support for clients facing trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma-responsive strategies and resources to assist in the recovery journey.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring accurate reporting.

• Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings to promote a learning environment focused on best practices in trauma-informed care.

• Keep abreast of the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois is essential.

• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of trauma-related disorders and treatment methodologies.

• Proven experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies, with an emphasis on evidence-based practices.

• Strong interpersonal skills, characterized by a compassionate, non-judgmental approach toward clients.

• Ability to navigate high-pressure situations with composure and professionalism.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with telehealth platforms.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to USD 104,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
