Work Environment

The onsite work environment at our rehabilitation center is supportive and collaborative, comprising a team of two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA). Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patients' physical therapy needs, objectives, and limitations.
• Manage a patient caseload efficiently, aiming to treat one individual per hour, ensuring personalized attention.
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient's unique circumstances, integrating a variety of treatment modalities.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques to provide high-quality treatments that enhance patients' range of motion and mobility.
• Monitor patient progress closely and adjust treatment protocols as needed to maximize outcomes.
• Educate patients on exercises, wellness routines, and lifestyle changes that promote long-term health improvement.
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure coordinated care.
• Document all patient interactions comprehensively, adhering to legal and ethical standards while utilizing EMR software, particularly WebPT.
• Provide encouragement and motivation to patients throughout their rehabilitation process to foster independence and confidence.
• Actively engage in ongoing professional development, staying abreast of industry advancements and innovative therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus at Serenity Motion Therapy is on individuals with orthopedic conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and age-related mobility issues. We engage with a diverse clientele, assisting them to regain strength, function, and quality of life through dedicated and personalized therapy.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Master's or Doctorate (DPT) is preferred.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Maintained a clean professional history, free from any disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and developing effective exercise programs.
• Experience and confidence in utilizing EMR systems, with a focus on WebPT.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting enhances your application.
• Experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Involvement in community outreach or educational programs related to physical therapy is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

In recognition of your expertise and commitment, we offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000.
