Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to support clients dealing with stress and mental health challenges.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify clients' unique stressors, challenges, and personal goals, tailoring mindfulness practices to meet their specific needs.

• Guide individuals through mindfulness exercises, meditation, and breathing techniques to enhance self-awareness and emotional balance.

• Facilitate engaging group workshops on mindfulness practices and stress management strategies, creating an interactive environment that promotes learning and growth.

• Incorporate mindfulness seamlessly into individual therapy sessions, addressing diverse mental health concerns while encouraging positive behavioral change.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of therapists and healthcare providers, integrating mindfulness practices into a comprehensive and cohesive treatment plan.

• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, progress, and treatment strategies to ensure quality care and adherence to best practices.

• Engage in continuous personal mindfulness practices and professional development to refine your skills in mindfulness and maintain current knowledge in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, stress-related conditions, and other emotional or psychological challenges. Our clientele varies widely in age, background, and needs, providing a dynamic and fulfilling experience for our therapists as they help clients navigate their paths to wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Oregon.

• Sound foundational knowledge of mindfulness practices in therapeutic settings.

• Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to create a calming, supportive therapeutic environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior training or experience in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is highly preferred.
