Key Responsibilities\n

The ideal candidate will enhance our client's well-being by performing the following essential duties:

• Conduct thorough psychological assessments to determine clients' mental health needs and formulate appropriate treatment plans.

• Provide tailored counseling sessions to individuals, couples, families, or groups, utilizing both in-person and remote platforms as required.

• Document all client interactions meticulously, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities as well as alternative approaches, adjusting treatments based on client responses and feedback.

• Maintain client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations while engaging in open communication with interdisciplinary teams.

• Participate in regular staff meetings to discuss client care, contribute insights from observed trends in patient outcomes, and collaborate on treatment strategies.

• Engage in ongoing professional development to refine therapeutic skills and stay current with advancements in mental health treatment.

• Perform additional tasks as assigned to support organizational goals and enhance patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses on a diverse population of cancer patients and their families, providing emotional support throughout all phases of the disease—from initial diagnosis and treatment to survivorship and end-of-life care. Counselors will engage with clients grappling with anxiety, depression, grief, and other mental health challenges commonly associated with cancer journeys, ensuring a compassionate approach that addresses the whole person.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this rewarding opportunity, candidates must meet the following essential qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a closely related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).

• No history of medical malpractice claims, verified by a third party.

• Authorization to work in the United States.

Hopeful Response Group Healthcare Services offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $105,000 annually, based on caseload and experience.
