Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments using validated screening tools and personal interviews to understand student needs and risks.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and other modalities tailored to individual cases.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions and psychoeducational workshops aimed at addressing common mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and stress management among students.

• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and other educational staff to ensure a holistic approach to each student's mental health care.

• Provide crisis intervention services, addressing urgent mental health emergencies and creating safety plans when necessary.

• Educate students and their families on mental health resources, coping strategies, and intervention options, fostering a better understanding of mental health challenges.

• Maintain detailed and confidential client records in compliance with ethical standards and electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate in regular team meetings and case consultations to promote consistent care and share insights regarding student progress and therapeutic strategies.

• Stay current with advancements in mental health practices and encourage continual personal growth and professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of this role is on students—from elementary through high school—addressing a wide array of mental health concerns. You will work with diverse populations, including those facing challenges such as familial conflict, social isolation, academic pressure, and other psychological conditions that affect their learning and development. Your contributions will be critical in nurturing a supportive educational atmosphere that prioritizes student mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure in the state of Nevada as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and therapeutic approaches specific to youth and educational settings.

• Demonstrated ability to manage comprehensive assessments and develop effective, evidence-based treatment strategies.
\n
• Proven experience in individual and group therapy, specifically with school-age populations.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.

• Strong ethical judgment, maintaining professional boundaries while building therapeutic alliances with clients and their families.

• Proficient in using electronic health records and various digital communication tools for remote therapy and case management.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
