Key Responsibilities

• Psychosocial Assessments: Conduct thorough evaluations utilizing a strong understanding of human behavior and psychosocial factors affecting treatment outcomes, adhering to ethical standards throughout.
• Clinical Interventions: Engage in direct counseling with patients and families, assisting them in navigating difficult decisions related to end-of-life care, treatment plans, and community resources. • Triage and Caseload Management: Assess and prioritize clinical cases, managing a diverse caseload that includes high-risk patients while balancing referrals and ongoing care needs efficiently.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and thorough documentation, including Social Services Progress Notes and assessments, in compliance with organizational policies and standards.
• Education and Training: Provide training sessions and workshops to healthcare staff about psychosocial issues relevant to patient care, enhancing overall team competencies.
• Quality Improvement: Engage in the continuous improvement of clinical practices through monitoring and enhancing process indicators and patient care outcomes.
• Supervision: Mentor and supervise graduate social work students and MSW employees, guiding them through clinical practices and assessments.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The LCSW will primarily work with patients undergoing detoxification, characterized by their diverse backgrounds and experiences with substance use disorders. Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from $120,000 to $130,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
