Key Responsibilities\n

• Conducting thorough initial assessments of patients, documenting mental, behavioral, and emotional health during the initial interview, and throughout treatment.

• Developing individualized treatment and intervention plans tailored to meet the diverse needs of clients, incorporating relevant therapeutic techniques.
\n
• Facilitating both individual therapy sessions and group therapy workshops, cultivating an environment conducive to healing and self-exploration.
\n
• Monitoring client progress, adapting treatment plans as needed based on outcomes and ongoing evaluations.
\n
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team including social workers, psychiatrists, and medical professionals to create comprehensive care plans for clients.
\n
• Providing crisis intervention and support for patients experiencing acute distress or emergencies.
\n
• Identifying barriers to recovery and implementing strategies to overcome these challenges, supporting clients' long-term mental health goals.

• Assisting family members and caregivers by offering guidance on how to support their loved ones through mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Our clients often present a variety of mental health challenges, such as anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma, and relationship issues. Your expertise will be crucial in helping these individuals navigate their challenges and improve their overall well-being, leading to meaningful life changes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active, valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Washington.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience providing mental health counseling.

• Experience with electronic health records, specifically AVATAR or similar platforms.
\n
• Knowledge of and experience with clients dealing with substance use disorders, PTSD, and other mental health challenges.

• Understanding of the latest research and best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.
