Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop tailored therapy strategies that meet the unique needs of each client.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Facilitate therapy sessions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all participants.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and psychologists, to provide integrated care that addresses the full spectrum of client needs.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring confidentiality and quality of care.

• Engage in ongoing professional development by attending workshops and training sessions to stay informed about the latest research in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will directly impact individuals who are experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to trauma and substance use disorders. Many of our clients have limited access to mental health resources, making your expertise vital in providing support and guidance, enabling them to navigate their journeys towards recovery and emotional resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required for this role.

• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Maryland is essential.

• At least two years of clinical counseling experience in a mental health setting is required.

• Demonstrated understanding of legal and ethical standards in the practice of mental health counseling.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to build rapport with a diverse client base.

• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) software and related technologies is preferred.

Preferred Experience\n

• The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
