This role is completely remote, providing you with the flexibility to design your workspace according to your preferences. However, you will still remain an integral part of our outpatient office team, participating in regular virtual meetings, case conferences, and training sessions. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments and evaluations to understand clients’ mental health needs, using standardized tools and clinical judgment to formulate and implement individualized treatment plans.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, groups, and families, integrating various approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques.

• Collaborate effectively with case managers, psychiatrists, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated care that addresses both psychological and social determinants of health.

• Administer crisis intervention strategies to clients in acute distress, utilizing active listening and empathetic engagement to de-escalate situations and ensure client safety.
\n
• Participate in community outreach initiatives aiming to promote mental health awareness, including workshops, seminars, and partnerships with local organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals and families from various ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. This exposure not only enriches your clinical skills but also deepens your understanding of the complex factors affecting mental health. You will help individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health challenges, aligning your therapeutic techniques with their unique life circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• An independent and active mental health license, specifically as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills capable of establishing rapport and building trusting therapeutic relationships with clients from a multitude of backgrounds.

• Demonstrated cultural competence, displaying sensitivity and adaptability when engaging with clients from diverse educational, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

• Strong organizational and time-management abilities, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, preferably working with diverse populations.

• Experience utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and tracking of client progress and treatment plans.
