Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Norwood Counseling Center, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to understand the needs of children and their families.

• Collaborate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) tailored to each child’s developmental milestones and family dynamics.
\n
• Monitor outcomes and provide ongoing support for families, ensuring continuous care that encourages child development.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based practices and natural environment teaching methodologies to enhance learning and growth among young children.
\n
• Develop trusting relationships with children and families to foster an environment conducive to development and learning.
\n
• Deliver information, skills, and support to families regarding strategies for promoting their child’s development.

• Comply with all federal and state regulations to maintain high standards of practice.
\n
• Participate actively as a team member in interdisciplinary meetings and discussions focused on service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on infants and toddlers who experience disabilities or developmental delays, supporting them through their crucial early years. In conjunction with caregivers, you will work on enhancing physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills, facilitating optimal development during a critical growth period.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this role possesses:

• A Master’s degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited program.

• A valid LCSW license issued by the Department of Public Health.

• A minimum of one year of experience working with children in early intervention settings.

• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.

• A valid driver’s license.
