Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to determine the mental health status of clients, employing evidence-based screening tools and methodologies.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, offering both individual and group counseling, and employing a range of therapeutic techniques to engage clients effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will work with may present with a myriad of challenges, including but not limited to substance abuse issues, mood disorders like depression and anxiety, and eating disorders. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid professional license (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) to practice mental health counseling in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of four years of relevant experience in a clinical setting, providing therapy to diverse populations.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment practices, and the ability to incorporate cultural awareness into therapeutic interventions.

• Strong crisis intervention and conflict-resolution skills, along with the capability to maintain a calm and therapeutic presence in challenging situations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
