This remote role focuses on providing high-quality psychosocial support to clients within our hospice center setting. Work Environment\n

This role offers the flexibility of remote work while collaborating closely with our hospice center team based in San Francisco, California. Our organization values work-life balance, allowing for adjustable scheduling options including 4x10 or 5x8 shifts, within the operational hours of 8 AM to 7 PM, Monday through Friday. Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide psychotherapy and counseling services to diverse individuals, couples, families, and groups, tailored to their unique needs and circumstances.

• Conduct in-depth interviews with clients to gather, interpret, and assess social, personal, environmental, and health-related information.
\n
• Evaluate and treat complex psychological issues within the LCSW’s scope of practice, utilizing evidence-based practices and clinical methodologies.
\n
• Develop and implement individualized care plans that address clients' social and emotional needs, ensuring a holistic approach to treatment.
\n
• Facilitate crisis resolution for cognitive, affective, and behavioral health concerns, while connecting clients to necessary community resources and support networks.
\n
• Establish and maintain trusting relationships with clients, promoting mutual respect, acceptance, and open communication.
\n
• Assess the effectiveness of treatment strategies and adjust interventions as necessary to improve client outcomes.
\n
• Document client interactions and treatment plans thoroughly and in accordance with HIPAA and organizational standards.
\n
• Maintain an active caseload and ensure all client records are current, reflecting the provision of quality care.

• Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and remain updated on industry best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LCSW in our hospice center, you will work closely with clients experiencing terminal illnesses and their families. You will address a range of emotional and psychological issues such as grief, loss, depression, and anxiety, ensuring both patients and their loved ones receive compassionate, person-centered care during one of the most challenging times in their lives.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active LCSW license in the state of California, maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards.

• A minimum of four years of relevant experience in social work or a related healthcare environment is required, preferably with a focus on clinical settings.

Preferred Experience\n

• Demonstrated experience providing counseling for behavioral health issues such as mood disorders, substance abuse, trauma, and family dynamics.

• Familiarity with hospice or palliative care settings is highly desirable, enabling a deeper understanding of patient and family needs during end-of-life care.

• Competence in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and communication purposes.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $85,000 to $104,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to the base salary, the successful candidate will be eligible for a sign-on bonus, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, a robust 401(k) retirement plan, and generous paid time off for holidays and vacations.
