Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify the mental health needs of clients, ensuring a holistic approach to therapy.

• Deliver intensive counseling and psychotherapy sessions, implementing tailored treatment plans that reflect each client's unique circumstances and goals.

• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all case notes, progress reports, and treatment plans in compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.

• Respond calmly and empathetically in high-stress situations, employing de-escalation techniques to manage emotional crises effectively.

• Collaborate with educational staff, psychologists, and community resources to coordinate care for clients, ensuring all providers are informed about treatment progress and changes.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, adapting your approach to suit various client needs, including support groups for parents and adolescents.

• Participate in regular team consultations to share insights, strategies, and foster a supportive network among colleagues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on students and their families within the school setting. Your clinical expertise will directly impact the mental health of children and adolescents, many of whom may face challenges such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, or trauma. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid LCSW license in Virginia allowing for independent practice.
