Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Morton Comprehensive Health, you will be responsible for:

• Managing a diverse caseload of clients, establishing strong therapeutic relationships while maintaining professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conducting regular client sessions to track progress and address ongoing needs, ensuring open lines of communication regarding treatment goals and discharge planning when appropriate.

• Developing, implementing, and regularly reviewing personalized treatment plans that reflect the specific needs and goals of each client.

• Maintaining accurate documentation of client interactions, including progress notes and assessment results, to comply with both legal and organizational standards.

• Performing thorough intake assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health conditions and recommend appropriate treatment options.

• Participating in individual supervision sessions to discuss clinical cases and enhance personal professional growth.
\n
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this position is supporting youth clients dealing with a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Counselors will employ evidence-based practices to deliver effective interventions that empower young individuals to navigate life's challenges successfully, thereby enhancing their overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Colorado.

• Demonstrated ability to meet internal credentialing requirements in relevant clinical settings.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of one year of experience working with youth or psychiatric patients and/or populations dealing with substance abuse.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer skills for documentation and administrative tasks.

Compensation and Benefits\n
