Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations to determine individual therapeutic needs and establish realistic, achievable goals.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and the care team, ensuring that each patient's unique needs and preferences are prioritized.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities, to promote recovery and improvement in functional mobility.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, treatment protocols, and the proper use of assistive devices to facilitate ongoing care outside of therapy sessions.
• Monitor patient progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary, documenting all findings and updates in accordance with best practices and legal standards.
• Participate in case conferences and team meetings to discuss patient cases, ensuring consistent care and sharing insights with fellow health professionals.
• Manage your caseload effectively, prioritizing tasks and collaborating with support staff to ensure optimal patient flow and care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on adults and children receiving orthopedic care, including post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and injury prevention. You will engage with a diverse patient population, tailoring your approach to meet their specific cultural and clinical needs.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is preferred.
• Current state licensure to practice physical therapy in California.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy is highly desired but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and documentation standards.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to the base salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
