Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at the Center for Families Wellness Center, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Group Therapy Leading: Conduct engaging group therapy sessions where clients can share their experiences openly and learn from each other, creating a sense of community and understanding.

• Individual Counseling: Provide empathetic and personalized one-on-one therapy sessions that help clients explore their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. Create tailored coping strategies and action plans that resonate with their specific challenges.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that align with their goals, preferences, and unique circumstances, ensuring they feel an active part of their recovery journey.

• Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and evaluate the clients’ progress through various methods, including assessment tools and client feedback, to adapt treatment plans as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on young adults aged 18 to 30, many of whom face anxiety, depression, and other complex mental health challenges. Within our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), you will be instrumental in guiding this demographic towards recovery and emotional resilience, helping them navigate life’s difficulties and restore their sense of hope.

Qualifications\n

Candidates must possess a valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential in Texas. A Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field is a minimum requirement. The ideal candidate is someone who embodies our core values and has a genuine passion for helping others.

Preferred Experience\n

Preference will be given to candidates with experience working in mental health treatment settings, especially those familiar with telehealth practices. Familiarity with evidence-based therapy modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
