As a remote telehealth counselor, you will have the flexibility to work from any location while engaging with clients through our secure digital platforms. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments to gather comprehensive mental health history and document case notes from the first consultation through treatment completion.

• Evaluate clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral health to identify issues and create personalized recovery plans.

• Develop and lead both individual and group therapy sessions that address various mental health challenges, fostering a safe environment for self-exploration.

• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of treatment plans, making adjustments as needed to ensure client progress.

• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, medical staff, and other mental health professionals, to develop coordinated care strategies.

• Prepare and manage referrals for clients requiring additional services or specialized interventions.

• Provide ongoing support to family members and caregivers, equipping them with strategies to assist loved ones in their recovery journey.

• Implement preventative measures and interventions that address behaviors hindering recovery, focusing on long-term mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Active licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW within the state of Massachusetts.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear and empathetic interactions with clients and team members.

• Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, with familiarity in platforms like AVATAR enhancing patient documentation and management.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience as a mental health counselor working in a similar telehealth setting.

• Demonstrated understanding of complex physical and emotional health conditions, plus experience with addiction disorders.

• Keen awareness of best practices provided by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Exposure to the impacts of pharmacological treatments prescribed by physicians, offering holistic, integrated care.

• A history of successful collaboration with medical professionals in a multidisciplinary context.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
