Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct one-on-one video counseling sessions that are tailored to each client's needs, preferences, and goals.

• Utilize therapeutic techniques to help clients explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, fostering personal development and improved interpersonal relationships.

• Assist clients in setting realistic objectives and devising actionable plans to achieve their mental health goals.

• Evaluate clients' mental wellness through detailed assessments and develop solution-focused treatment strategies that adapt to their evolving needs.

• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress reports in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.

• Participate in regular clinical supervision and team meetings to enhance collaboration and improve service delivery.

• Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in mental health practices to provide evidence-based counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients experiencing a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our clients come from various backgrounds and demographics, reflecting the rich cultural fabric of Jamaica, New York. Tailoring therapy approaches to meet the individual needs of each client is essential for fostering positive outcomes and ensuring they receive the support necessary for their growth.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in a mental health-related field such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Counseling.

• Active and valid licensure in New York as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).

• Proven ability to make informed decisions and provide client-centered counseling.
\n
• Strong proficiency in using digital tools and telehealth platforms for therapeutic services.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience in a mental health setting is required. Experience with teletherapy and familiarity with various therapeutic modalities (such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, etc.) is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
