Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients and their families, tailoring evaluations to meet diverse cultural needs.

• Provide individualized therapy sessions for patients and families, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques aligned with their specific needs.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including billing, treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
\n
• Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention strategies, and wellness plans to support patients in maintaining stable mental health.
\n
• Create effective discharge plans that facilitate smooth transitions, ensuring continuity of care after service completion.
\n
• Comply with all federal and state laws, regulatory requirements, and NEHS policies, demonstrating ethical and professional standards in all interactions.
\n
• Engage in ongoing training opportunities and continuing education to remain proficient in counseling skills and therapeutic advancements.
\n
• Participate actively in case consultations and agency meetings, contributing to the collaborative learning environment within the team.
\n
• Complete all licensing renewals and mandatory training as required by state regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will work with a diverse range of clients facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a closely related field that qualifies for licensure.

• Current licensure as a mental health therapist in the state of Illinois (LCPC, LMFT, or LCSW).

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in mental health counseling, with a demonstrated ability to work with diverse patient populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
