Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist with Adirondack Health Care, your primary duties will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of patients to evaluate their physical capabilities and limitations following injury, disease, or surgery.
• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic methods, such as exercise protocols, stretching techniques, hands-on therapy, and utilization of therapeutic equipment.
• Monitoring and documenting patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery paths.
• Educating patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and devices to enhance their self-care and improve their functional mobility.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care and to address the multifaceted needs of our patients.
• Continuously updating professional knowledge through workshops, professional literature, and active participation in relevant professional organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, applicants must possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.

• Current CPR Certification.

Preferred Experience
