Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and self-directed Commercial Operations Coordinator to support the internal engine of a rapidly growing consulting firm in the electric power sector. This role keeps the commercial side of the business running: managing vendor and client setup, keeping our systems organized and current, tracking the flow and status of our business development pipeline, coordinating new project setup, and handling the range of operational details that keep work moving from first conversation to active engagement. Alongside this, the role owns marketing and communications, including our LinkedIn presence, content campaigns, and website.

The position offers exposure to a range of technical and strategic topics across the energy transition, and a clear view of how a consulting business actually operates, from pursuit through delivery. The common thread is translating what our team does into something clear and organized, whether that means turning deep subject matter expertise into content for a technical B2B audience or making sure a new engagement is set up correctly before the first hour is billed. Equally important is building the templates, workflows, and standards that allow a small team to operate efficiently and scale without adding friction.

We are looking for someone who sees what needs to happen before being asked and is willing to own problems that fall outside a fixed job description. As the firm grows, so will the scope of this role.

Roles and Responsibilities

Commercial Operations

• Manage vendor and client setup, including required documentation, system records, and account coordination
\n
• Track the flow and status of the business development pipeline, keeping opportunities current and surfacing what needs attention
\n
• Coordinate new project setup so engagements start cleanly, including documentation, system entries, and kickoff logistics
\n
• Keep internal systems organized and up to date so information stays accurate and easy to find
\n
• Identify and implement improvements to commercial workflows, tools, and templates as the firm grows
\n

Marketing Materials and Content Development

\n
• Execute a content strategy across LinkedIn, email, and the website, aligned with business development and brand priorities
\n
• Source content from subject matter experts across the team and translate technical work into accessible, client-facing content
\n
• Draft and publish content consistent with Elevate’s voice and visual identity, and keep the website current as the firm evolves
\n
• Create client-facing marketing materials and reusable templates that support business development
\n

Business Operations Support

\n
• Support company culture initiatives, including team building, company swag, and gifting
\n
• Take on additional operational needs as they arise, supporting the range of tasks that keep a high-growth consulting firm running smoothly
\n

Qualifications

Candidates should have the following required qualifications:

\n
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in business operations, commercial operations, or a comparable internal operations role
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, client-ready content
\n
• Strong attention to detail when managing records, systems, and documentation
\n
• Ability to work autonomously, setting priorities and driving work to completion with minimal direction
\n
• Comfort navigating ambiguity and building processes, templates, and workflows where none currently exist
\n
• Exceptional work management skills, including high ownership, organization, and responsiveness; able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in parallel
\n
• Intellectual curiosity and the ability to quickly ramp on unfamiliar technical topics and translate them for a broader audience
\n

The following qualifications are preferred, but not required:

\n
• Experience in a B2B, professional services, or consulting environment
\n
• Proficiency with content creation, design, email marketing, and website content management tools (e.g., Canva, Wix, LinkedIn, common email platforms)
\n
• Experience in the energy, utility, or engineering industries
\n
• Experience with customer relationship management systems or business development pipeline tracking
\n
• Experience supporting a small or rapidly growing organization where internal functions are being built rather than maintained
\n

Physical requirements for this role include:

• Must be able to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods of time at a computer
\n

Additional Details

• The final title for this role will be determined based on the qualifications of the candidate and on performance through the interview process
\n
• A background check will be conducted prior to employment
\n
• All persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and must complete employment eligibility verification documentation upon hire, in compliance with federal law

• This is a fully remote role with minimal travel expected
\n
• This position is full-time and has been classified as non-exempt
