Work Environment\n

This role will predominantly take place in an outpatient office setting, with the flexibility of conducting telehealth sessions. Our clinic promotes work/life balance, with a standard day shift from Monday to Friday. Our excellent administrative support team manages credentialing services, intake scheduling, efficient billing processes, and other essential operations, allowing clinicians to focus on their therapeutic work.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Mental Sphere Wellness Center, your main responsibilities will include:

• Managing a diverse caseload of clients, establishing trust and maintaining a strong professional rapport while adhering to ethical guidelines.

• Conducting regular sessions to assess client progress, stability, and readiness for potential discharge when appropriate.
\n
• Developing, implementing, and continuously monitoring individualized treatment plans tailored to client needs.
\n
• Maintaining thorough documentation and progress notes in compliance with clinic policies, ensuring all client information is current and accurate.

• Performing comprehensive intake assessments to determine client suitability for services.
\n
• Facilitating individual therapy sessions and participating in clinical supervision to enhance professional practice.

• Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on serving a youth population battling various mental health challenges. You will be equipped to provide evidence-based interventions that support emotional and psychological well-being. Long-term client relationships are cultivated through a compassionate, client-oriented approach, as you help guide them toward resilience and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in mental health counseling or a related field is required.
\n
• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Georgia is mandatory.
\n
• Eligibility to meet internal credentialing requirements for relevant clinical practices.
\n
• At least one year of experience working with psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse populations.
\n
• Proven expertise in conducting assessments, diagnostics, and facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions.
\n
• Basic proficiency in computer systems and documentation software, coupled with strong organizational skills.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in a telehealth environment is preferred but not mandatory.

• Familiarity with evidence-based practices used in youth-focused mental health treatment.

• Background in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
