The Salvation Psychotherapy Center is in search of a dedicated and licensed Mental Health Therapist to provide specialized care through remote telehealth services. As part of our clinical team, you will focus on delivering trauma-informed therapy to individuals navigating the challenges associated with trauma, including PTSD, complex trauma, and various dissociative disorders. Your clinical expertise will play a crucial role in promoting healing and resilience among our diverse patient population.

Work Environment\n

This full-time position operates within a remote telehealth environment, enabling flexibility in your work schedule while ensuring that patients receive timely, compassionate care. Our operational hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to address the individual needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to thoroughly evaluate each patient’s trauma history, resulting in effective treatment planning.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery and building resilience, using a collaborative approach with the patient.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailoring interventions to individual patient needs.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients as they process their trauma experiences, develop coping strategies, and work toward emotional healing.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure an integrated and holistic approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies, offering immediate support and stabilization as needed.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available community resources to enhance their support system.
\n
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development focused on advances in trauma-informed care.

• Stay abreast of the latest research in trauma therapy, continuously refining your practice based on new findings and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will involve working with a diverse range of clients facing various degrees of trauma. This includes adults experiencing personal crises, families dealing with the aftermath of trauma, and individuals struggling with mental health issues related to their traumatic experiences. Your compassion and expertise will be instrumental in helping these patients navigate their recovery journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT is essential for this position.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities is critical.

• Experience in providing trauma-focused therapeutic interventions will be highly beneficial.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, demonstrating your ability to effectively engage with clients experiencing trauma.

• Sound interpersonal and communication skills, combined with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to therapy, are a must.

• A proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant software is required for accurate patient management and documentation.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers an attractive salary range of USD 90,000 – 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and professional qualifications.
