Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial evaluations to assess clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health comprehensively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse client population that includes individuals from various ages, cultural backgrounds, and socioeconomic statuses. Your role will encompass tailoring treatment interventions to address specific issues, such as substance abuse, relationship difficulties, or severe mental health disorders. By utilizing telehealth services, you will enhance access to mental health care, especially for those unable to attend in-person therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in Texas.

• Successful completion of either the National Counselor Exam (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, preferably AVATAR or similar platforms.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating the ability to convey complex information in an understandable manner.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous professional experience as a mental health counselor in a clinical or telehealth setting.

• Experience in addressing comorbid physical and emotional health conditions and understanding addiction disorders.
