Key Responsibilities

Your role as a Nurse Practitioner in Cardiology will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, including:

• Conducting comprehensive health assessments and screenings for patients with cardiac conditions, ensuring to document findings meticulously in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Diagnosing and managing both acute and chronic medical conditions related to cardiology, offering preventive care measures and health promotion tailored to individual patient needs.
• Engaging in community outreach events and health fairs to raise awareness about cardiovascular health and provide necessary screenings to community members.
• Coordinating referrals and follow-up care, ensuring seamless continuity of care for patients transitioning between different levels of service.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• An active New York state nursing license, along with current certification as a Nurse Practitioner.

Compensation and Benefits
