Work Environment

This full-time position is based in Smithtown, New York, within a concierge medicine framework. The work is primarily conducted onsite, allowing for direct interaction with patients in their homes. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive cardiovascular assessments and screenings, focusing on identifying risk factors and heart conditions.
• Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic cardiac conditions, ensuring high-quality preventive care and tailored health promotion interventions.
• Perform a variety of cardiac tests and interpret results to outline personalized treatment plans for patients.
• Prescribe medications and administer treatments according to established protocols, ensuring adherence to the best practices in cardiology.
• Educate patients and their families about cardiac health, encompassing lifestyle modifications, prevention strategies, and management of existing conditions.
• Maintain meticulous medical records, adhering to regulatory standards while ensuring consistency with cardiology best practices.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers and community organizations to develop and execute education programs centered around cardiovascular health.
• Stay current with trends in cardiovascular medicine and integrate innovative health solutions into patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role targets a diverse patient population, including those who may have limited access to conventional healthcare resources. As part of your duties, you will provide culturally sensitive care, advocate for patients’ rights, and work collaboratively to overcome barriers to accessing cardiology services. Your day-to-day interactions will involve direct patient interactions through house calls, allowing you to provide personalized, compassionate care designed to improve overall cardiovascular health and wellness.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program is required.
• An active state nursing license, with additional credentials in Cardiovascular Nursing or a related specialty is essential.
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, ideally within cardiology or cardiovascular health settings, with a background in community or public health preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a concierge medicine or house call environment is advantageous.
• Demonstrated involvement in community health initiatives or cardiac health education.
• Ability to work independently in a mobile healthcare setting and manage time effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 150,000 to 160,000, reflecting your experience and expertise. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
